How to cross a patrolled pedestrian crossing safely - by Daniel Wilson

A patrolled pedestrian crossing is a patrolled zebra crossing. It's monitored by two trained road patrollers. Usually road patrollers are only at schools.

When crossing a patrolled zebra crossing you stand behind the lwhite ine. You look both ways and wait for the road patrollers to say "signs out, clear and cross now". Don't cross until all of the cars have stopped. When you're sure all the cars have stopped cross slowly.

When you get to the end of the other side of the road and one of your friends is on the other side, don't run over. Wait for the road patrollers to tell you it's safe to cross.

To cross the road cross safely, follow the rules that the road patrollers tell you. If you see a patrolled pedestrian crossing it's smarter to cross there so stay safe.
